Project Description:
System WorCx was hired to perform existing building commissioning (retrocommissioning) on this building. The building was identified as a candidate for commissioning due to very high energy usage, and historical problems with heating, cooling, and ventilation.
The project energy-related systems included:
- Building Automation System.
- Laboratory Airflow Controls.
- Chiller/Cooling Tower.
- Steam system connected to campus distribution system.
- Air Handling Units.
- Fume Hood Exhaust and Heat Recovery.
- Domestic Hot Water.
- Lighting.
- Utility Metering
