We take a very active role in the LEED® Certification goals of the project. Our unique approach not only comes form our understanding of sustainability but also draws from the extensive knowledge of systems we commission on a daily basis.

Through our many LEED® projects, we have learned the typical shortcomings in implementation and documentation that can cause failure to meet LEED® criteria. We ensure all system-related LEED® goals are being met and properly documented during our design reviews, construction observations, and commissioning. Sustainability Consulting
Not every project is a good candidate for LEED®. In some situations, the owners may be seeking sustainability or energy saving attributes and not necessarily a certification. We respect the owners decision to go in this direction and provide integrated sustainability consulting for projects looking to go green but not necessarily LEED®. With our many areas of expertise we can help you analyze the property or portfolio and make recommendations of the highest and best use of your investment. We like to take an interactive approach with the project owner, facility manager, contractor and/or architect to address the different options and plan of action. These steps will help to ascertain the best way to implement your sustainability goals throughout the project whether it’s a single building or a multiple property portfolio. This plan will focus on where you get the most for your investment. Whether that’s upgrading an HVAC system in one building or applying changes to lighting and sustainable materials in another, we look to make the adjustments to your project that will start to save you the most money from the onset of the plan – assuring a high Return On your Investment.
Project Focus | NASCAR Hall of Fame
Contracted by the City of Charlotte, System WorCx was hired to closely monitor the design and construction of the Hall of Fame’s complex systems. In their initial study, the City realized the immense energy savings they could obtain through the commissioning process. The building was designed and built with highly efficient systems and commissioned throughout the entire 3-year project.
